Friday 27 December 2019

I managed to reach to the pick :) but I couldn't be there for a long time because
1) the sun was pretty down and the path to a shelter isn't long but steep down so it takes time, more less 1h
2) my boots wasn't as good as I had predicted so my poor feet was slowly freezing
So I could take just a few photos because I had to hurry up (again!)

While I was going down I saw the sun which was going slowly down :)

I reached to the shelter DOM ŚLĄSKI on time :)
I was staring at the sunset - it was pretty. Thinking, it's over for today I was going towards the shelter. When I was opening the door, I looked around to say : ''see you tomorrow'' and I saw something incredible! :

I was standing there, fascinated by the colors of the clouds which were changing in such a short period of time ! <3 I've never seen something like this! AFTER the sunset!
Ending the day with so beautiful sunset, I was hoping the sunrise on the pick ŚNIEŻKA won't disappointed me and prise my efforts tomorrow :) Seeing the sunrise on the highest pick (1602 m!) in the mountains KARKONOSZE - it was a little dream <3

Friday 6 December 2019

I was pretty surprise that I saw the SNOW in the end of April! Moreover, I wasn't very high.

It looked like ice age 2 : thaw!

BUT, further I was going, there were more snow!
OK, snowy Easter :)

Unfortunately, because of ice and snow I was moving slower then I had predicted so I had to speed up a little bit. I was sliding by the way but at least I was moving ahead :)

The weather was beautiful! The sun and blue sky with pretty clouds :)

And then I saw the queen of the Karkonosze mountains : ŚNIEŻKA - it was my aim <3

MY LONELY TRIP IN THE MOUNTAINS KARKONOSZE IN EASTER 2019

Yes, instead of spending time with my family I chose walking in the mountains :)
1DAY
As usually, I travelled by train to JELENIA GÓRA at night to not lose too much precious time.
In that time the train was pretty empty; in one compartment there were just 2 person: me and a man. The man was in the middle age, muscular with a beard and tattoos but he was very polite. We were talking a little bit. I found out that he was a soldier in Irak and now he is retired so he travels because he has plenty of time. We were discussing also if the women should or shouldn't join the army. He said that the women as the soldiers become more male and behave like men so they aren't attractive to them. In his opinion, the women shouldn't do there. It was very interesting conversation. After that, we said good night and go to sleep. There were a lot of place so I and my mate could lie down - what a luxury! :)

After 4 hours sweet slumber I had to a change and then I went by bus to KOWARY for 50 minutes more less. Very early, I started my hike by following the green track to BUDNIK and then to the PRZEŁĘCZ OKRAJ

I was passing by the nice paths. I was feeling the spring :

But, while I was going up and up I noticed something white...

Sunday 17 November 2019

After the red hard truck, I was following (luckily!) the green truck which was a nice and MILD path :). I saw a very pretty sky by the way:

It was the same road that I had crossed at my first day so next, it was going slowly down - but not only the path - the sun also... So I had to hurry up although I was really exhausted. When I was in PISARY I knew that I will be late for the train! It was very unlikely to catch a hitch-hiking in such a small village but I tried anyway. After 10 minutes I succeeded ! :) There was a very nice women with a child which gave me a ride, straight to the railway station in MIĘDZYGÓRZE (luckily!) . So I just sat down on the bench and I was waiting for a train resting and eating my supper :).
Because of the physical effort I was feeling the tiredness for the next 3 days! But it was worth anyway :) I certainly will come back there where will be snowing ;)

Sunday 10 November 2019

Suddenly, I saw a very pretty view :) There was a Czech observation tower:

Then I was slowly going down to the small village. Unfortunately, the bleu signs disappeared and I had to look for it what took a lot of time. My legs were dissatisfied but I had to keep going. I was asking the Czech people but it didn't helped - generally it works in that way that the Czech understand us, the polish people but we don't understand them - it's a little bit funny but in that moment I wasn't laughing.
Luckily, I found my sweet bleu signes! What a happiness! :) But it didn't last long, when I saw my next truck - the red one - which led very, very UP...oh my god and I was so tired! But after a short break with a beautiful view I was able to move on somehow ;)

But when I saw the hour I realised that is pretty late and I have to hurry up because I have a train soon!!!
The bleu track was very nice with that narrow path :) which was pretty long.

By the way, I have seen the bleu sky and the pick ŚNIEŻNIK :)

I met just  two or three the Czech people, well, it was still very early so generally, I was going alone admiring the views <3

Then I took the green track which was also lovely :) - I have seen nobody...

Next, I was following the bleu signes again...

Saturday 9 November 2019

Yes, I  managed to get up and go to the sunrise again :). That time, it was colder but the view was beautiful and different than previous one:

It was incredible! First, the clouds were grey and then white!
I felt like in the heaven ;)
There, where is the elephant, was a hostel a long ago but during the war world 2 it was destroyed. That's a shame, such a magnificent view!
In sum, the both sunrises were amazing ! But I think that the previous one was a little bit more gorgeous - the clouds gave more colours and special effects ;)
It was monday so I thought that I will be there alone but I was wrong - I met an old man who told me that I have a lucky because the clouds are not always here - well, lucky me! :) He also recommended the Bielskie and Sowie mountains - the precious advice, maybe next time? <3
It's always worth talking with the older people because they have a lot of interesting things to say.

I said 'goodbye' to the ŚNIEŻNIK' and I chose the bleu track which led to the Czech Republic towards the point SUSINA on the map...

Thursday 31 October 2019

After one hour planning, I finally decided to follow the red track to make a ''loop''  to come back later to my hostel before sunset of course. My first destination was a small village MIĘDZYGÓRZE so my itinerary was going down and down - it was a very nice and easy walk :). But there was a lot of people with children  because 1) it was a main track 2) it was a Saturday  - so it was loudly and unpleasant a little bit. Luckily, when I got to the village I lost them all :) and then I was going a bleu and later a green track which lead very, very UP toward the CZARNA GÓRA (black mountain - a pick), It was a short path and I was close to  my purpose but due to its steepness I was moving very slowly and by the way sweating a lot. After a very long hour, I eventually reached to the pick. The views were beautiful <3
It was worth my effort :) :

There, even a simple fish can with a bread tasted as the most delicious dish in the resautant :)
After the excellent meal, I followed again the red signes towards my hostel through the ŻMIJOWA POLANA  (viper clearing) - there were the nice views :) :

Fortunately, that track was mild because I was tired a little bit and my legs had enough for that day - anyway, that was a pretty long itinerary. I managed to reached to the hostel before the sun set - it was so good to sit inside where was very warm and drink 3 teas :). Tomorrow I planned again go to the pick ŚNIEŻNIK and see the sunrise - I was wandering, if the sunrise will be the same, similar, more beautiful or the sun just hide behind the clouds?

Monday 21 October 2019

2 Day
I woke up at 05:30 - I was very proud of me that I managed to  get up so early :). I came out at 06:06 - there was a dark sky with the stars and the moon. The pick wasn't far away from the hostel but I had to go through the path that was among the trees - the track very, very gloomy. I had a flashlight but anyway I was afraid a little bit - I was hearing just a wind and my breath; luckily, I had seen any animal. After a 40 min. walking very up I have seen the most beautiful sunrise in my whole life:

1) At the beginning:

2) After:

3) Then:

4) Finally:

It was incredible when the colors in half an hour had changed a few times. It was a pure game of lights! On live it was of course more amazing - the photos are just imitation.
I was standing there fascinated for 1 heure! But not alone, there was a few people which also came to watch the rising of the sun. Because of low temperature,  I got cold and my battery was dead very fast. Despite we have a warm October the mornings were getting colder, well, we have finally the autumn.  The sun was high enough so I decided to come back to my hostel, drink a hot tea and plan my next itinerary :)

Sunday 20 October 2019

Then, in the Opacz, next to Czech border, I saw a lovely valley:

There was a great place to rest a little bit and eat something ;). Obviously, there were a lot of czech people.
Afterwards, I was going to Trójmorski wierch (the observation tower) fallowing again the green track. The view was beautiful!:

The sun was slowly going dawn so I had to speed up a little bit; it's better to not walk in the darkness in the middle of the wood when the various animals wake up...

On the Gaworek was a very charming and mysterious scenery (like in the hobbit <3):

I got to hostel/refuge ''pod śnieżnikem'' before the sunset - a big success :). I was very tired but happy that I managed to reach there :). Moreover, the day rewarded me a splendid sundown:

The hostel was very cosy, small, and the most important: there was a free boiling water so I could do the countless number of tea for free ;). I went to sleep very fast - at 8:00 p.m.! I got an eight-man room but luckily nobody snored or made noise. I planned to go on the pick ŚNIEŻNIK at sunrise tomorrow...
THE SECOND JOURNEY: IN THE MOUNTAINS

I
n 13 October 2019 I decided to go to the mountains  : Masyw Śnieżnika- it' s a little bit lower than mountains Karkonosze but the height about 1400 in the beginning was suffisent for me :). Besides there is less people and  there are the paths less crowded than in Karkonosze so I will rest and walk in silence just with nature <3.
1 Day
I had just 3 days free so I traveled at night in Friday to not lose too much time in a train. In fact, I could start my walk at 8 a.m. - wonderful! But because of my " night ride" I was a little bit sleepy so my march was more slowly than usually. I started from MIĘDZYLESIE fallowing red trail trough a small village PISARY. It was very nice road with pretty views :)

Then, I followed the green track up to crossing that was hard to pass along because of  fallen trees.

Moreover, the green signs were very neglected so I've got lost and in the meantime I noticed a small snake; if I hadn't walk very carefully searching the signs, I would have stepped on the snake. It was hidden very well.
The internet didn't work in the middle of the forest so I was glad that I had taken the map of the mountains with me. After many minutes I managed to find the green signs :)

Wednesday 29 May 2019

was the stink of exhaust fumes and smog - yea, home, sweet home.
I missed immediately the breeze and the sea... With slowly steps I went to a tram stop towards my flat. In the tramway I decided to tell the truth all my family excepting my grand-mother (she wouldn't have survived this). The best were of course the reactions of members the family, so my mother was shocked but not angry and she congratulate me that I survived, my sister received worse my report from the journey - she was more shocked than mother, she just sat on the floor, looked at me as a crazy person and said nothing, I guess that her boyfriend understood me a litle becuase he said: cool adventure! and my father wasn't neither impressed with my trip nor angry with me about my recklessness, he said just: aha, OK. But in one point they all agreeded entirely: that I stunk and I had to take a very long shower...

When the night has come and I went to bed I was feeling a little strange and I couldn't fall asleep becuase:
1) the bed was too soft.
2) I was seeing above me just the darkness (and the ceiling) without the milions of shining stars.
3) I didin't feel any breeze or wind
4) I was hearing just an annoying noise of television and voices of my family (which is pretty loud)instead of lovely sound of the sea.

Obviously, after a few days I have got use to the living conditions but I still miss the best place to sleep: the beach + the sunrise (everyday!). I certainly come back there but next time with somebody - I konw that I had a lot of (or even too much) good luck and now I wouldn't do it again. Moreover I was there almost all alone - I was boring sometimes BUT thanks that I met a great boy (with whom I danced in the club) which is now my best friend :)

Tuesday 28 May 2019

But I managed to got to port in Świnoujście. I was there very early: at 7:30 ! The train I have at 9:00 so I had time to rest and dry up. I decided to go on the beach. There was very windy and cloudy - but thanks to the wind I was drying up faster. I had to be in move, otherwise I shivered with cold so I started walking along seaside to warm up. I would have bought some dry clothes but unfortunately the shops were closed in that early morning so I tried to enjoy my 'wonderful' walk. While I was walking I noticed a lot of birds - really very big birds or rather gooses brown-black - pretty uncommon view.

When was near to 9:00 a.m., I said goodbay to sea and almost all dry, I went towards railway station. The seat was very comfortable and the most important - it was dry :) . It was so nice to SIT and rest - I was very exhausted but happy :). With these feelings I fall asleep very quickly. After a few houres my slumber I woke up with the pain in all my body (sleep in a sitting position was a bad idea), well, finally we came back to a sad reality in Poznań. The first thing that I noticed getting of the train was ...

Monday 27 May 2019

The sixth day:
In the middle of the night I  was woken up by the rain. Firstly, I thought it was just a dream but when I felt under me the water that dropped to my hole, I woke up suddenly, packed my stuff and moved on - yes, at 3:15 a.m. I had to cross the dark wood with my tiny flashlight on my bike. I was a little scared, I was hearing  the strange sounds, seeing the shining eyes and I almost ran over a fox ! The weather was getting worse - the rain was stronger and stronger. After a few minutes, My clothes and baggage was completly wet - so I and my LUGGAGE were much heavier. For lucky, my destination (Świnoujście) was close but the road was difficult: it ran through the wood and was a little mountainous. But I invented a  great way for this: when was up - I simply led my bike, when was down - I normally ride ;).
Later, it was pouring with rain - I couldn't see the cars so I had to be very careful. In addition, the air in my wheel had gone away and I didin't have a bicycle pump so my rode was getting worse and harder. After 2 hours seeing just the road, the forest  ang having the longest  shower ever, when I saw a sign of civilization - a PETROL STATION - I felt the huge happiness! There I pumped up my poor wheel, I bought a chocolate, the rain finally stopped and with a new positif energy I mouved on. I was very near to my destination - just 3 km! But later, I was starting feel cold (I was still all wet !) and the sun didint't want to show up ...
I saw two young people having sex - that supraised me, so I said: sorry and walk farther. I was a little astounded what I have seen but on the other hand, it was the holiday and people enjoy the life in different ways. The night I spent again on the sand in the isolated place. It was calm, colder and windy but finally I managed to fall asleep.
The fifth day:
Again, nobody and nothing disturbed me at night ( I am really very lucky girl!). The sunrise was as usually beautiful :). My all body rested so I decided to move on. The weather was still warm with small white clouds. I was riding almost all day with a few long breaks. There wasn't any bike service, I guessed that everybody was on holiday leave. Fortunately, my carrier  still held on :).By the end of the day, I reached to a tiny town: Wisełki. There were just a few shops, reataurants and the beach was 2 km  from the small city in the depths of the forest. It was a vey small wild beach and nobody was there - great!. This evenig was colder and more windy, well, the weather had to worsen sooner or later. When I was searching the place to sleep I saw an enormous hole in the sand and I hit on an idea: in the hole won't be windy so will be warmer! and I did it. I was right - the night was very pleasant and worm of course :) BUT just until 3 a. m. ....

Sunday 17 March 2019

I chose the silent place far away from people. I buried my luggage under my head, I put my bag with me in my sleeping bag and I lied down. When I was lying I saw milions of stars beneath me, under me I felt soft sand, I heard just lap of sea and I felt delicate breeze - It was AMANZING ! Despite these beautiful views I was a little afraid but I tried to not worry about the dangers that could come to me at night.
The third day:
I survived :) .The first night on the beach was better than on the camping, it was warmer but when the sunrise was coming (04:30!) I woke up becuase all my warmth had gone away and I felt cold. So I stood up, walked along the seaside to warm up, collecting some pretty rocks by the way. It was the first time I saw the sunrise live.  It was gorgeous!

After the 'jogging' I came back to sleep. I woke up at 10:00 a.m. All day I was resting, sunbathing and swimming, the weather was again sunny... - it was great :). I really liked sleeping on the beach so I decided to sleep there again.
The fourth day:
The second night under the sky was more beautiful! I could see more shining stars and it was warmer but anyway I woke up again during the sunrise becuase of the cold, did my 'jogging' and slept again. That time I was woken by a child who asked his father very loudly: ,, Is that lady is dead?'' - that made me laugh. The night was again without dangerous suprises luckily.  My knees felt much better so I went sightseeing Pobierowo. Unfortunately I didn't find the bike service but in exchange I found a paid shower for 10zl! Great! I really needed take a shower, swimming in the sea couldn't replace that luxury obviously. After that, my phone suddenly rang - oh NO ! It was my mum! : What am I  goinig to tell her? The truth that I  am along on the trip? NO ! So I decided to lie (again). I said that I am having a graet time with my friend etc. I didin't want that my mother was worring about me. I think it was the best way. The night was falling and the wind was blowing hard, I hit on an idea: ,,instead of sleeping on the sand I will sleep on small house where lifeguard watch swimmers. There won't be windy''. As it was dark, I went with my flashlight towards the house. When I reached it and light it I saw an unusual situation...

Monday 11 March 2019

Second day:
I suddenly woke up early becuase I had heard a strange, noisy sound. I didn't have a good sleep but at least my 'tipi' hadn't collapsed - small success :). I was going to Podgorica, unfortunately the bicycle path to Rewal was very uneven and hard. My bike was shaking all the time and becuase of that I lost a screw from my carrier! The carrier was giving out an odd creak becuase my luggage was pretty heavy. I was in the middle of  the forest so I had to keep going no matter what. I had a lucky and I got to Rewal in one piece. I had a break - my legs needed that! Then I felt all weight the bike, my baggage  and ME; I should had had a better preparation. I was looking for a bike service but I couldn't find it, not good, maby in the next place will be. I had a great time so I wanted to go further. I was riding, it was getting dark faster than I had predicted and I got lost. I was on side road, there was dark, nobody to ask and I didn't have an internet or GPS in my phone. I could just go straight ahead as long as I found a house, shop, anything !

And again I had a lucky, I noticed a light so I ridden towards that. It led me to Pobierowo. There were amanzing! There were a lot of colorful lights, small shops, sing and music on the streets! Great atmosphere! I was very tired so I decided to rest in some pub. I was worring about my accomodation which I didn't have; It was too late to go to some camping, beside I was too exhausted to move on so I decided to rest in pub as long as it was opened and then ?....we will see. I was bored so I asked a boy to dance with me (then I was an abstainer! XD ). I met a really nice boy, we talked and he advised me to sleep on the beach. A lonely girl sleeping on the beach at night - It sonds very dangerously and recklessly but I didn't have an other option so I had to choose that.

The pub was opened just until 2 at night so I took all my stuff and I was looking for a place on the beach hoping that nobody was't following me...

Wednesday 27 February 2019

My first unexpected adventure

It was 3 years ago in july. It was my first holiday without family ( finally! ). My plan was easy and clear : I will ride a bike from Kołobrzeg to Świnoujście with my friend, we will sleep in a tent and we will there for 4-5 days. Unfortunately, two days before trip, my friend suddenly gave up from our trip. I was very angry with him becuase I knew that if i had gone alone my parents would have never let me to do it on my own; so I lied to them and went alone. Yes, I was very desperate to do this.

First day: I went by train. I started my ride at 12 a.m. My luggage was a little heavy although I packed minimum so I was ridding slowly. I was enjoying the weather that was beautiful and sunny, and the fresh air... it was wonderful ! Until the evening... I got to a camping in Mrzeżyno, I paid for a place, I was putting up a tent and.... my tent wasn't complete. I forgot take the frame! The most important part of the tent! I started to panic... what could I do?
1. go to a hostel/room (but it was too expensive for me).
2. come back home ( no way! I don't give this satisfaction to my mother coming back as the loser !). 3. replace missing parts (frame) with branches.
Obviously, I chose option nr. 3: I took 4 branches from the woods, put them in the tent, I binded them by shoelace and I created some kind of tipi. It looks awful and there were little space but at least the construction was more or less stable and the most important: I and my luggage could to seat. During the night I had to be very careful, otherwise my consruction could collaps on me. Though, It was july and it was hot, the night was cold and I took a thin sleeping bag and  thin air-mattres so I  was still feeling the cold and I couldn't sleep.
And it was only the beginning...
